Homeless and Affordable Housing Committee
St. Ann parish is known for its generous outreach and service to the those in need. In keeping with this wonderful spirit of generosity, the students of St. Ann Schools have given the proceeds of their recent walk-a-thon to the parish Homelessness and Affordable Housing Committee for distribution to the organizations with whom we partner. Gifts of $880 each were given in the name of St. Ann School Students to Institute for Human Services (IHS), Hawaii Family Promise, The Pūʻā Foundation and the Honolulu Habitat for Humanity. TJ Joseph of Habitat for Humanity accepted the students’ gifts and told of her family’s own experience in building her Habitat Home in Waimanalo.
