 The Point in Time Count

During the week of January 23, there will a count of the homeless on Oahu. The number of homeless found during the count will determine the funding for homeless programs for next year.  Last year there were very few people who helped with the survey on the Windward side.  This year Partners in Care is the sponsoring organization for the Windward side which extends from Waimanalo to Ahuimanu.

Partners in Care is holding a training session for those who would like to help with the PIT (Point in Time) survey on homelessness.  It will be held at the SNI Jisso Center at 6:30 to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, January 18.  The address is 47-451 Hui Aeko Pl; Kaneohe, Hawaii 96744 across from Ahuimanu Elementary School.

If you would like to help, you must attend the session and be trained as a surveyor.  You may sign up on line for the training or other options by using the Partners in Care web page http://partnersincareoahu.org/2017-point-time-count-oahu you can also help out with the count in other ways than actually taking the survey.
