In the first reading, the servant tells how God asked him to restore the lost people of Israel. Later, God reveals a much larger plan: “…I will make you a light to the nations so that my salvation may reach to the ends of the earth.”
In the second reading, Paul promises that if we trust God’s plan for our lives, we will receive grace and peace.
In the Gospel, this promise comes true as John the Baptist finally sees Jesus and proclaims, “Behold, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world.”
How can we show God we trust His plan for our lives?
