On October 27th, thirty-two excited junior high students received their Chromebooks to be used during the school year. Parents and students attended an informational meeting which also included a workshop on Internet safety and cyberbullying. Once families completed the workshop, students were able to sign out their Chromebooks. Students have been using their Google Apps for Education to do class projects, write and present reports, do research and submit homework.
We are very grateful to St. Ann’s parishioners, Iain and Linda Ross, who made a generous donation of $10,000 which was used to purchase the Chromebooks. It is our goal to provide fourth and fifth grades with Chromebooks and first and second grades with tablets in the near future.
