St. Ann Church is sponsoring a Habitat for Humanity work day at the home of Darlene Kaniho on Saturday, March 5 at 546 Krauss Street Honolulu, HI 96813 in Papakolea. We will need up to 40 people to help. You do not need any previous experience with building a house. A willing heart and hands are welcome. You might be painting, hammering, using power tools, or be a “go-fer” and hand material to someone up on a ladder. You need to wear work clothing and closed toe shoes on the worksite.
The day starts at 7:45a.m. with prayer and safety instruction. Lunch will be provided by St. Ann’s Volunteers. We will end at approximately 3:30 p.m.
We will also need 7 to 8 people to prepare and bring lunch for about 50 people. We usually bring a salad, main-dish, and dessert, paper goods, and drinks. St. Ann’s cooks have a reputation for always bringing wonderful lunches. The lunch should be brought to the site around 11:00 am. There will be a table for the food.
It is a great opportunity to meet other members of St. Ann parish and do something special for Lent during this Year of Mercy
Please let us know if you will be participating by contacting Bernie Reeves at 348-7370 or email@example.com.
